Okay, this entire concert I spent with my jaw clenched ....there was this
group of 15 y/o drunk girls next to me who talked and screamed through the
whole concert. After the first song, Ani came over right to the edge of
the stage and leaned over (right next to me, I tried to slouch away to
show that I didn't have any part of this) and said "You guys are being
really loud, could you please stop?"....she said it in the sweetest voice.
I can't think of the most annoying people who wouldn't have stopped there,
but these girls giggled afterwards and were maybe quiet for one song.
After this, I politely asked them to be quiet about 3 times. They never
stopped. Finally during the intro to NAPG I leaned towards them and
screamd SHUT THE FUCK UP. they were pretty quiet for the rest of the
time, not extremely, but a little better. Needless to say, this concert
was not one of my favorites. definitely my worst experience at a show. Oh
and to make things worse, this was the only show we had front row for.
Anyway, HAT SHAPED HAT, made everything better....I had been
wanting to hear it and I had given up hope but it's the last thing I heard
Ani do before we headed home and needless to say it made everything a lot
better! It's was a great new version....i guess she wasn't happy with the
way the band was playing it before. But I loved it.
