vegas... so how scary is it to see ani's face on the giant lighted marquee
outside the hard rock cafe? it was ani and jason's first gig in vegas and
the crowd reflected it - lots of dilate fans who don't know how to shut up
during the quiet songs and the new songs and "oh i just love annie!!". but
the visual made up for the audience - seems the band ran across the
waitress wardrobe room in the bowels of the hard rock so ani, andy, AND
jason appeared in "santa's little cocktail waitress" outfits for the whole
gig! low-cut on top, high-cut on the bottom, tight all around - *very*
amusing. they looked like the RBR logo. jason's been showing an awful lot
of skin lately - first his halloween outfit and then this... i wonder if
he had any idea of what was in store for him when he signed up for the
band?? oh, and she talked at length about folk fests and how cool they are
since you get to jam with folks from all around the world. talked about
winnipeg (puddle dive era) and tuvan throat singers in particular. maybe
she's getting nostalgic and wants to play more folk fests again? are there
any folk fests that are prepared to handle the rabid and unruly contingent
of her fan base these days?
