Liz's review

okay i just got back from the madison show, and let me say, it was awesome. i'm exhausted and i can't remember the order of songs she played, so i'll let somebody else post the set-list (PRETTY PLEASE). but it was totally a cool show. except i was informed by a nice usher lady in the beginning that i wouldn't be able to take pictures, but everybody else was so i did anyway. not like it matters, i was pretty far back and it was a little tiny Ani up on stage. well i guess i made to many flashes (sorry!) and towards the end of the show two usher people were in a corner pointing at me, i decided it was time to put the camera away then. i guess i must tell you all that she did Not A Pretty Girl all by herself, and it was pretty cool. they did a nifty version of Gratitude with Andy on the harmonica and Jason on the string bass. also, they did some weird jamming with "pieces of an organ that Andy found", that was strange, some other guy came up on stage and played. in the middle of Pulse (that's what it's called?) the mike screeched and it killed the mood and messed up Ani so she just moved on. also, it was really amazing, she did Both Hands as the second encore. it was very impressive. well, that's my rambling about the show. i hope it is half-way coherent. if somebody has a boot, i'd love to have a copy. also, assuming my pictures turn out, if anyone wants them, email me.
